About me

Hello! My name is Anant and I am a science-oriented Engineer and Engineering-oriented Scientist who aspires to pursue interdisciplinary research in the field of space-instrumentation to develop novel instruments leading to better understanding of space weather phenomena.

I am currently an M. Sc. student in the Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering and the Dept. of Physics, at the University of Alberta. I’m working on designing a High Energy Particle Telescope for the RADICALS satellite mission with a Graduate Research Assistantship Fellowship.

I have previously worked as an engineer at the Human Spaceflight Center of the Indian Space Research Organization. I have always been enthusiastic to learn beyond the curriculum, and during my undergraduate studies I contributed to multiple international small satellite missions. This led me to work as a sponsored intern at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, University of Colorado, as well as at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore.

My Mission Statement
